On the morning of June 1, Wanbo Chemical held the launch ceremony for Safety Production Month at its Hutian plant. The ceremony was chaired by Wu Xiaohao, Wanbo Chemical’s Director of Safety. Representatives from workshop teams and contracted subcontractors delivered statements, and all attending cadres and employees took a collective oath to uphold safety in production. Wang Kaiguang, General Manager of Wanbo Chemical, delivered a mobilization speech, emphasizing the need to thoroughly publicize and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions, instructions, and directives on workplace safety. He urged that “everyone prioritizes safety, and everyone knows how to respond to emergencies—identifying and addressing risks and hidden dangers” become the guiding principle, and that lessons from recent accidents be deeply learned. With this year’s campaign theme as the focus, he called for broad mobilization and full participation, rigorous identification and rectification of all risks and hazards, and encouragement and rewards for employees who proactively identify and report potential hazards in their surroundings. He stressed that workplace safety must be integrated into every aspect of production and operations, and that all activities during Safety Production Month should be carried out in a solid and effective manner. Following the launch ceremony, a signature‑taking event was organized, allowing employees to pledge their commitment to safety.
